Position Overview

We are hiring an experienced Field Sales Representative / Lead Generator to canvass neighborhoods, speak with homeowners, identify potential projects, and generate qualified leads for our contracting services. This role requires confidence, professionalism, and the ability to work independently in the field.

This is a 1099‑NEC independent contractor position with commission‑based pay and strong earning potential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Canvass residential neighborhoods to identify homeowners needing roofing, siding, decks, concrete, interior/exterior renovations, or storm‑related repairs.

  • Educate homeowners on Metalla Contracting LLC’s services including roofing, decks, concrete, garages, additions, kitchens, bathrooms, siding, windows, doors, soffit, fascia, seamless gutters, and more.

  • Generate qualified leads and schedule free inspections for project managers.

  • Maintain accurate logs of leads, addresses, and homeowner contact information.

  • Follow up with leads to confirm appointments.

  • Represent Metalla Contracting LLC professionally at all times.

  • Work independently with minimal supervision.

Required Experience

  • 2–5 years of proven sales experience (field sales, door‑to‑door, canvassing, or similar).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable walking, canvassing, and speaking with homeowners.

  • Self‑motivated and goal‑driven.

  • Reliable transportation required.

  • Must be able to work as a 1099 independent contractor.

Compensation (Industry‑Standard for 1099 Field Lead Generators)

Recommended Structure for Metalla Contracting LLC

$75 per qualified lead + 5% commission on closed jobs

Industry Ranges

  • $50–$150 per qualified lead

  • 2%–10% commission on closed jobs

    • Example: $12,000 roof → 5% commission = $600

    • Example: $35,000 addition → 3% commission = $1,050

This structure keeps costs predictable while motivating strong performance.
